We use AI tools for specific, limited tasks to improve efficiency:

• Summarisation: We use LLMs to generate initial drafts of “Key Takeaways” or “Smart Briefs” from full-text studies. These drafts are then rigorously fact-checked against the primary source.
• Data extraction: We use algorithms to extract p-values, sample sizes, and hazard ratios from structured tables to ensure precision.
• Translation & formatting: We may use AI to assist in standardising the format of citations or translating complex technical jargon into accessible clinical language.

• No AI hallucinations: We do not allow AI to “invent” facts. If a study does not support a claim, it is removed. We verify all statistical claims against the original paper.
• No synthetic medical advice: Our content is for informational purposes for healthcare professionals. AI is never used to generate direct treatment recommendations that are not explicitly present in the source material.
• No image fabrication: We clearly label any illustrative images that are generated or enhanced by AI. We do not use AI to alter clinical data images (e.g., histology slides, X-rays) in a way that misrepresents the scientific findings.
